| Personal History | Matt Richards studied Criminology and Criminal Justice at Northeastern University. He did his Co-op quarters with the FBI, the CIA, and USAF Office of Special Investigations, where he was introduced to both Criminal Investigations and Counterintelligence. After college, he was hired by USAF OSI through the PACE program. Matt has spent the balance of his nearly 20 years with OSI working primarily in Counterintelligence. He has done tours in both Iraq and Afghanistan, as well as several tours in OSI Region 7. Region 7’s primary area of responsibility is Counterintelligence for the Office of the Secretary of the Air Force and all activities that fall directly within the scope of that office, including the Special Projects Division. This made him a perfect candidate to run the OSI detachment at Project New Dawn. |
